IDEA-45438 Opening JSP files makes IDEA very slow and unusable

JSP files of any substantial size (say, 2000 lines) makes IDEA unusable. Every mouse or keyboard action takes around 20 seconds to complete on my fast machine. CPU is very high.

Basically, people at my company either use a different editor, remove JSP file association and view them as plain text, or use IDEA 5.1.2 which works fine for one person at least.

I personally noticed this issue with IDEA 7.0.3 (had no need to look at JSP files before), but my colleagues say that "jsp files have been slow forever".

Environment: Windows XP Pro 32 bit, SP 2.
Pentium D 3.4GHz
3.5GB RAM

Issue was resolved

Please take a CPU snapshot as described in http://support.jetbrains.com/kb/entry.jspa?externalID=192&categoryID=5 and attach it to this issue.

I recorded the CPU snapshot. However, as soon as I pressed the Capture CPU button, the performance problem disappeared, and has not appeared for the last 30 minutes. You must be changing some settings when recording is turned on.

Ok, the issue just came back, here's another snapshot. I was simply moving around a JSP file with just over 2000 lines, moved to a Java file and then back to the jsp, moved around a bit more and stopped the recording.
