IDEA-21995 Proxy with username/password handling does not work in IDEA Server Plugin

I am unable to use the IDEA Server plugin because my internet proxy says that the credentials supplied are incorrect (the IDEA Server plugin displays the returned HTML in a large window when the login fails).

I sit behind an internet proxy that requires a username/password. IDEA is fine with most internet actions (plugin updates, external resource fetching) but the IDEA server plugin does not work despite being configured with the same server, port, username and password.

I have the same issue, then I try to connect to IDEA Sever I get:
"Cannot login: Login failed. Server responds with error code 407"

Maybe the same problem was with this plug-in http://plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=36 version 1.1.0 has some info in release note:

Version 1.1.0

* Fix: If IDEA is configured to send authentication information to an HTTP proxy then the authentication information is sent pre-emptively, avoiding problems with proxy servers that fail to respond with HTTP status code 407.
