IDEA-2189 Editing is impossible due bad performance

Editing a source file with more than 400 lines is impossible due bad performance.
Are you sure all coloring threads have a low priority?

I've noticed this too. I've had to use Extract Superclass to split my larger classes into 4 or 5 superclasses, as a workaround.

Problem is completely gone when I install the latest nvidea drivers and set
sun.java2d.noddraw to false in the idea.properties file. Everything is now far more responsive
