IDEA-14689 "Path" field in file chooser: If only a single selection exists, it should preselected in the popup
0
Issue is visible to: All Users
The issue is visible to the selected user group only
If for the path that I have typed so far results in a single suggestion, then that suggestion should be preselected.

Thinking again: There should always be a selection in the popup, so that I can always accept a suggestion by pressing tab and can always see where up/down keys will move the selection.

As for me, I don't think this is a good idea. Often I want to enter some non-existing path (for example, "build" instead of "beans"), and such preselection can make it hard to do so. (At least it was very hard in some earlier build of Selena when it worked that way....)

Then whatever it was that made typing a non-existing path hard to do should be changed/fixed.
Currently I can't really imagine where the problem might have been.
